This is an animated bumper that would hypothetically play before a film. This is a short motion graphic that was created in Adobe After Effects.
The video begins with a little bumper telling the viewer that the movie is about to begin. This is the type of animation that would play before an movie, especially at major movie theaters and drive-ins. Afterwards, the animation gets more specific to the film being played.
The next portion of the animation is a title sequence for the 2014 film Need for Speed starring Aaron Paul. This short animated opening sequence includes some of the major roles and credits for the film, as well as takes you through a short tour of the movie's set pieces and events in a way that doesn't spoil the events of the film, but rather gets the viewer excited to watch them play out in the movie. Viewers coming back and watching the film a second time though will be able to pick up the subtle references throughout the sequence, and get another layer of enjoyment out of the animation. This way it is an entertaining watch for both new and returning viewers.
This was a project I completed as a student, and I am in no way connected to the film. I do not own the rights to the Need for Speed property nor the music used in this video.
